How to Turn your Book into 10K Clients! (Part 1) 

Want 10K clients? It is not difficult when you know how!  In fact, having a roadmap can make it very doable. You have to have three criteria. 1. A topic that you are passionate about. 2. Solve an urgent problem for an identifiable market. 3. And find a market that has money to spend and can’t wait to buy it from you. If your book meets these criteria, you can easily turn it into10K clients with this 5-step process!

Step 1. Create a System or Process

Your book should reveal a system or multiple systems that link together that buyers can follow and get the result that you are promising in the book. All you have to do is expand on the book and turn it into a coaching program. (You can also sell it as a home study or group program, but you won’t need anywhere near as many clients if you do it as an individual coaching program.)

Some processes consist of one system, and, sometimes, it consists of two or more.  How much you offer in your program will depend on the topic and how well you know it. (Even if you don’t know some of the parts to your system you can hire others as guest experts to fill in the gaps for you, which I’ll explain in a minute.)  Then, as you grow, the process may expand or change over time.

For example, when I started my business, I created one program: The 3 Days to eBook Cash Program.

Then, after I taught it, I realized that people wanted to know from me how to market their books too. So, I put together a program on that. I didn’t know how to teach all of the topics that I needed to cover, so I invited guest speakers on to train on some of the modules, including now top Facebook expert, Mari Smith, and Podcasting guru, Paul Colligan. I also started coaching people individually on how to use their book to grow their business.

Over time, my system changed as the Internet changed and as I grew as well. When I started there were no blogs, no webinars, no video, no social media, and no Kindle, and with Kindle, ebook marketing changed, the pricing of ebooks changed, and a whole industry changed.  This forced me to rethink my marketing program, and eventually I had to scrap it. Rather than having one marketing program, I needed one for doing bestseller launches in Kindle and another for overall book marketing, so that’s what I did. It was eventually replaced by the Bestseller eBook Launch Secrets Program and the eBook Marketing Mastery Program (a 30-day marketing plan) for do-it-yourselfers along with VIP Bestseller to Business Pro coaching.

The key is to keep up on what’s going on in your industry and to make sure that you stay on the cutting edge. This is not usually hard for entrepreneurs who are naturally curious and lifelong learners and start figuring out a solution to a problem your market has.
